Morpheus8 is a state of the art fractional skin treatment which stimulates production of collagen in the underlying layers of skin. It targets the deeper layers of the skin to help stimulate and produce more collagen.
What is great with this treatment, is that there is almost no down time. This is a non-surgical, minimally invasive and safe treatment.
Patients shall require having topical numbing for at least 60 minutes prior to treatment, with the morpheus8 treatment itself taking between 45 to 60 minutes. This medical treatment improves texture and complexion and is wonderful as an anti-aging treatment through the tightening of the skin. This is safe to use on all skin tones.
The typical treatment areas include the neck and lower face, but any area that shows wrinkled skin discoloured patches, stretch marks or scarring are suitable for treatment. There is minimal risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)
This procedure may feel uncomfortable yet not painful. Ideally a package of 3 Morpheus8 treatments, with a wait time of between 4 and 6 weeks in between, is ideal. Some patients said it feels like a tiny pinch, a little hot followed by a short sting. The pinch feeling is the micro needling, and the heat is the radio frequency with some patients feeling the tightening right away during the procedure.
